Not of the ordinary this man. His work is outcasted in the gallery and doesn’t quite go with everyone else’s modern theme. What I noticed was something original. And tell me if I’m wrong but isn’t that what are is about…expressing individuality. Mike did a really good job in individualizing himself in the aspect of a more natural development or conformity to a countryside scenery.
In expressing his work of him stating “Nothing is permanent here.. Everything is always fleeting” I noticed as I was searching threw all his pictures I found myself never looking at a replica. Interesting that so many things could be going on similar sometimes but never the same thing.
Mike speaks about his friends he meets and how they are always in conversation. There were plenty of pictures of the people who are always there. Whether friends or acquaintances he still managed to speak with these people in this known area or common interest. They all viewed this sacred place as a natural history of an outdoor setting. He did very well in expressing his view on how a different setting can seem boring at first look but it may not always be there on the second take so look carefully going through life observe more and take pictures not for yourself but for history.
